2011-2012 Dance Schedule!

Written by Mike Bowen

Roamin' Tacomans Dance schedule for 2011-2012

The Roamin' Tacomans seek to be a beacon of light for dancers that simply want to come out and have fun while fulfilling peoples desire for growth. In order to do that we decided last year that we would change it up a little. Therefore, every 2nd Saturday is a Plus (P) Dance and every 4th Saturday is a Mainstream (MS) dance. Additionally, we will be having a plus tip at the end of our Mainstream dances and an Advanced teach @ the end of our Plus dances. The only exception to the Plus/Mainstream rotation will be December which will be Mainstream. Feel free to contact me @ 253-686-6691 or online @ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . One more thing, We do not require a certain type of dance attire (provided you are clean and un-offensive), but we do require smiles. Dancing is all about FUN first, skill second, and laughter always!

Please note that all dances begin @ 7:30pm for Pre-rounds followed by the dance from 8-10:30pm. Additionally all dances are called and cued by Tom Tomlinson unless otherwise noted.

Who Are We?

Written by Mike Bowen

The Roamin' Tacomans is a Plus club, but that's not all we do! In an effort to promote square dancer growth and make it possible for all of our Mainstream friends to come dance with us, we have made every 2nd Saturday a Plus dance and every 4thSaturday a Mainstream dance. Additionally, we will be having a plus tip at the end of our Mainstream dances and an Advanced teach at the end of our Plus dances. Our club seeks to be a beacon of light for dancers that simply want to come and have fun while fulfilling people's desire for growth. The only exception to the Plus/Mainstream rotation will be December which will be a student level Mainstream dance. The absolute priority of the Roamin' Tacomans square and round dance club is to have FUN! We are a group of positive, uplifting, and supportive dancers that believe in lending an outstreached hand to those who will take it. We believe that square dancing shouldn't be a serious undertaking but always an enjoyable one. Our goals are simple: have fun, build square dancing, and promote square dancer growth. Scroll down our page to see a list of upcoming dances. Feel free to contact me @ 253-686-6691 or online @ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. P.S. We do not require a certain type of dance attire (provided you are clean and un-offensive), but we do require smiles. Dancing is all about FUN first, skill second, and laughter always!
