This mainstream club dances the 2nd Sunday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm* at the Sumner Valley Square Dance Hall, 1705 Willow St., Sumner, WA (click here for a map). Caller is Brett Kappenman; cuer is Sue Weber. Adults are welcome to join in the dancing.
* Reverting in January, 2012, to 6 to 8 pm, with pre-rounds at 5:30 pm (once the Roamin' Tacoman's earlier plus class concludes).
State Federation's Scholarships

), posted the following message on the Rainier Council's facebook page on Nov. 4, 2011: "Hi everyone! I have seen and heard some questions about the square dancing scholarship! I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a scholarship (or 2) of $500 for dancers ages 17-22! Keep this in mind and spread the word, I will be sure to post again in January when the form for 2012 is available. Feel free to ask me questions!
